Culatta is made from the core, the softest part, of pig's leg which is used to produce the "prosciutto", and its manufacturing method is similar to "prosciutto crudo". The aroma is an intense fragrance of cellar seasoning, and the taste is soft and sweet like Parma, but with a consistent taste like Culatello. When you taste it thinly sliced, it will melt on your tongue and the scent will escape to your nose. Culatta is rare and expensive type of ham and it's rarely found in Japan. We are offering it sliced so that you can enjoy at your home. Not only you can serve it as an appetizer with a good wine, but you can also bring it to home party!
